Frequently Asked Questions

10.1 Is Production 4K native Seedance 2.5 4K?

No. Production delivers AI-enhanced video. Native Seedance 2.5 remains a separate alias with 480p/720p/1080p output.

10.2 How is Production different from standalone enhancement?

Standalone enhancement processes a video you already have. Production creates a new video from a generation request and automatically enhances it. Both use the public video task endpoints.

10.3 Do I submit tool_version for every product?

No. Standalone Standard / Professional use one alias and tool_version. Standalone Lite has its own alias. Production selects its tier through its Production alias.

10.4 Does a still image count as video-input seconds?

No. Only video inputs contribute input-video seconds. A last-frame still image is different from a short tail-video reference.

10.5 Why was the final charge higher than the reservation?

The final output can be longer than requested. Enhanced output duration is rounded up to whole seconds, and the reservation is reconciled using the frozen rate and actual output profile.

10.6 Does omitted fps force 120fps?

No. Standalone enhancement reserves at the highest FPS band, but leaves fps omitted upstream and settles from actual output. Production has no FPS multiplier in the current pricing model.

10.7 Does return_last_frame request a first/last-frame generation constraint?

No. It requests a delivered last-frame image. Input frame constraints use content roles. Production extracts the requested output frame from the enhanced video.

10.8 Will repeated polling advance or charge the workflow again?

No. Production progresses in the background. Repeated GET reads the original task and does not create another job or duplicate the charge.

10.9 Can I use either asset library without verification?

No. Use the authorized library path for the asset. Real-human assets still require the corresponding verification and rights.

10.10 Can I cancel, list or delete video tasks through this guide?

No. The documented video task contract provides creation and retrieval. Asset Library list/delete paths are separate asset operations.

10.11 Can I expose the API key in the website?

No. Keep it on your backend. The website may display example placeholders and product information; it should not embed customer credentials.

10.12 Can I send native output_format=mov to Production?

No. MOV is a native-generation option. The Production contract delivers MP4.

10.13 Can I request another tenant’s asset or task?

Only your authorized assets and task context are available. Knowing an identifier is not authorization.

10.14 Are all new tiers immediately available?

No. Confirm tenant-enabled combinations with LSF. A supported product or published price does not automatically activate a service for every account.
